For the second consecutive year, Thank-A-Vet committee members will be delivering gift bags to the homes of veterans, widows, widowers and Silver Cross Mothers instead of holding an in-person luncheon. Organizers of the annual Thank-A-Vet Luncheon will deliver gift bags to local veterans, widows, widowers and Silver Cross Mothers this year. The gift bags replace the traditional in-person luncheon, which has been cancelled for a second year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Organizers include Brantford-Brant MP Larry Brock (left), former Brantford-Brant MPP Dave Levac, veteran Don Spiece, Bill Chopp and Bruce Patterson, first vice-president of the Six Nations Veterans Association.
